For Purpose Education has invested in a suite of modern and innovative tools for learners and employers which has already begun enhancing the outcomes and experiences of learners and employers.
The initiatives, including avatar training videos, AI assessment coaching and tutoring, and an employer dashboard, have been made available across our group of registered training organisations (RTOs) to our learners in early childhood education and care.
Implementing these initiatives has allowed our trainers to spend their time supporting individual needs of our learners, increasing their engagement and success. As a result, the early data shows a significant improvement in learner progression, and an increase in learner and employer experience figures.
Impressively, learners have reduced the time it takes to progress through a unit by a whopping 51 percent1.
The promising results for our learners and employer partners mean that For Purpose Education will now look towards rolling these initiatives out across our aged care programs in 2027.
In a climate of funding uncertainty, these new learning initiatives ensure that our RTOs can continue offering the high-quality training we pride ourselves on while ensuring we remain financially sustainable into the future.
Importantly, none of these tools replace our passionate and experienced team of trainer and assessors; but rather allow them to spend more time interacting one-on-one with their learners and supporting their study journey in a more impactful way.
You can read more about each specific initiative below:
Training videos
Through the support of AI avatars, we have developed a series of training videos available to learners for each unit of competency. These bite-sized videos provide learners with an introduction to each unit and the content that they need to know. Learners can watch the videos at a pace that suits them and fits around their busy schedules, progressing without being slowed by assessment marking or a trainer availability.
Once the videos have been watched, the learner can complete their assessment tasks which are marked by their trainer and assessor as normal.
AI Assessment Coach
The AI Assessment Coach allows learners to check their coursework before submitting it for formal assessment. It highlights areas that may need revisiting or added detail, recognises what learners are doing well and helps them approach assessment with greater confidence.
The tool does not provide answers or make assessment decisions, ensuring formal assessments remain firmly in the hands of qualified and experienced trainers and assessors.
AI Tutor
The AI Tutor utilises trusted and approved course materials and resources to offer learners reliable assistance through chat and voice functions.
The AI Tutor offers timely support through functions such as breaking down questions and tasks, translating content into another language, summarising key ideas, or aiding with punctuation and grammar.
The AI Tutor complements the support offered by our trainers and assessors, allowing them to focus on where their expertise and personal touch have the most impact for our learners.
Employer Dashboard
The Employer Dashboard offers real-time visibility of each learner’s enrolment and training progress. This tool allows employers to check which employees are active, inactive, complete, or requiring additional support.
This tool offers employers greater transparency, minimising the compliance risk of having staff that aren’t meeting their training requirements and staying informed on the progression of their teams.
- ARC Training is not included in this data as the RTO did not offer ECEC until mid-2026 ↩︎
